Idea por una Pelicula: Las Cuerdas
There is a band called The Ropes and a lot of their music is so inspiring to me that I decided to think through some of the songs and begin composing short videos from each title such as 'Love is a Chain Store'. The idea is to have a young woman who finds love in the chain store with a lovely woman and then falls in love with a man in the same town after just recently going through a tough divorce. Spending time with each of them she can't decide who to be with until she discovers the man has been cheating on her, just like her ex husband. Through jealousy and rage she plots a way to ensure he never cheats again. She calls him to her home and during dinner executes him right at the dinner table. All the while, the female she meets at the store has uncovered her plot and arrives too late to save the man but tries to avenge his death in an attempt to put an end to her ploy. Through a great struggle, she too is shot and killed. In the end, our villain is left alone with her dead love in her arms. She carries her down the stairs and into a seat at the table. Returning to her chamber upstairs, she writes a note telling the whole tale and even about her inevitable death as she ties a noose and throws herself off the second story to swing across the velvet stairs.
Awesome music video

Film concept: Black Rose
Basically, a Sherlocke Homes character who is investigating a village full of people under the same conspiracy started by this old woman who kills people to feed her roses. Each victim in the compost represents a rose that grows on the plant and they always grow black. The investigation goes on and he begins to realize that she's getting supplies from the butcher at night. Then he finds the mayor supports this since it brings tourists and revenue. As he pulls all the pieces he needs to confirm the allegations, he tries to leave town one night late but all the towns people have been watching him so as he gets close to the train he is killed by the villagers and made into a single rose by the old lady who fell in love with him during his visit.
565 PingPong Balls
Guess what. I have 565 pingpong balls just sitting in my room. Why? I wanted to create a sculpture out of it. I'm actually going to stick em all toghether with hot glue or something. Hopefully the pingpong balls won't melt as I attach them toghether.
Now that I think about it... I'm kinda worried.

KKBB Internship
As some of you may recall I'm currently working downtown for a business local to Rochester called KKBB. They're really great actually and the designs are amazing. I have been dreaming up designs for graphic tee's ever since entering their establishment. If y'all have ideas I may ask my boss if he'll host a contest for the design to be a shirt design with KKBB. Lemme know if any of y'all are interested. :3
Character Design: DJ K$3T
So I had this thought the other day to do a character whose super power manifests after a trait the character has. Well, it's more of a quirk really. He's a young DJ working downtown who still uses cassette tapes to 'spin' hits. He's so obsessed with them that he even wears one around his neck that he constantly rewinds and fast forwards (even though that would likely technically damage the cassette with time). When his power manifests he gains a psychic power to essentially rewind memories just like one of his cassettes, only he has to have direct contact with the person and the best way is to wrap his hands around their mind. I thought it was a neat idea...but what do y'all think?
This is awesome
This music video is really well done. I'm not so crazy about the song but I would like to do something like this.

80 PIctures
So I thought to myself that I should go and do something wild and weird.
And sometimes... I hit the right spot. This is actually kinda amazing for me, at the same time, not really that amazing. Either way let me explain before I blab on.
I was bored since... when ever. I've pretty much completed my homework, aside from a storyboard, and I wanted to do something weird and interesting. At around 3 or 4 AM, Monday, I was punching away on After Effects so I can get something cool out of it. SO here's the thing.
I grabbed 80 pictures from a photo reference collection of mine, and decided that it'd be fun to run the pictures with a weird transition between each shot. So I thought what if I morph the shots? And so I did and it worked. And I then went... what if I just morph and add motion blur to the morph.
Well... surpise surprise! Here's the result.

Really interesting program "Rhonda"
http://rhondaforever.com/
It's a 3D Drawing program, very different from the cookie-cutter Maya/3D Studio Max UI.

Another crazy animation
Seeing that other animation reminded me of one I saw in high school, from the same college that one was produced from! It's called "Le Nouveau" and also has a surprise little twist at the end. Enjoy!

Crazy Animation W/ Unexpected Ending
This Animation is pretty interesting, give it a chance and watch it to the end. You don't expect what happens.
*edit* I figured out how to resize the embedded video -.-
*edit* It still doesn't fit in the blog, deal with it.
idea №1
Ok i finally have an idea. Its kinda like in myth of that Midas d00d, except instead of turning everything he touches into gold, he turns them into hot dogs.
2012!
Weeeell, I have an idea that might manifest itself into my first video project.
A parody of the movie 2012 in which the world is being destroyed and among the rubble of an earthquake the protagonist finds a computer running an operating system called Gaia. Using the computer (Which is locked up) he presses Ctrl+Alt+Del and selects reboot. This causes everything to go back to the stone age. Then when he selects a restore point the closest one is the industrial era.
Basically a bunch of computer and history jokes.

If life where like Superfriends
Hey, I dont know how many of you have watched any of the old Superfriends (Superman and various other superheroes in a UN of crime fighting lol) but I got an idea what if we took the scene change logo from Superfriends and used it for to someones everyday life for example: -Man at Desk : "Damn its going to take me all day to do this 3ddg project *sigh nothing but to do it * -Dooooooou do leeeee dee de da le do (Superfriend logo) - Man at Desk: There its done *Looks at Clock* WHAAAA 5 minutes. *sigh* if only*... just an idea.
Parking Lots
Who in the world designs parking lots so that you can't just back out and turn around and drive out straight. No, you have to back all the way out of the parking lot. How annoying. (She says this after she got stuck cause she backed out the wrong direction).
But thankfully there are nice drivers out there who let you switch into the lane your supposed to be in at a traffic light, cause you forgot where you were and tried to take the wrong turn.

Mr. Paperbag is Returning
I have an idea! :D This is meant to be more of a quick story. I can't give you a better description, but it's meant to be a quick idea. I'm more likely going to do this as a film. It sounds possible.
Here's the idea:
2 guys in one dorm room. Everything seems to be going alright. Suddenly there's a knock on the door. One guy decides to go check it out, but finds nobody. He thinks it's a prank of some kind. The moment he sits down comes another knock. This time, he rushes to the door and peers through the peephole but again, finds nobody.
He suddenly hears loud bang outside, and moments later the whole room shakes. The lights go out.
When the lights return, they panic. They attempt communicating, they yell, but find no help. Nothing is working. The two realize that there's nothing outside as well. Through the window they see absolute darkness as if everything had vanished suddenly. The windows don't open, nor does the door. They are trapped.
Then suddenly, a knocking on the door. Somebody is outside. Again, they peer through the peephole but find that it is blocked. The knocking becomes louder and more intense, as if somebody is upset. Then, it goes somewhere. The knocks travel around the door, to the walls, then to the windows. It circles the room.
Who knows where I will take the story from here. Who knows. Maybe it's Mr. Paperbag and he's coming back.

Our embarrassing bathrooms
Is it just me or are our bathrooms here at RIT more immature than high school and junior high bathrooms. They almost made me second guess coming here.

Two Ideas (original post name)
The easy one first:
A breaking trailer around CIAS to this song
Second One:
Video of me walking, with the shots done in the same place three times during three different times of day for different lighting to this song.
I want to constantly change between the different times of day abruptly (without transitioning). The shot will have to be well done in order for it to not be jumpy. Maybe Ill throw a flip or two while walking. Maybe.

Artificial borders
Why do we as artists get stuck in thinking that our creativity can only be harbored inside of a few modes of presentation? It seems to me like it takes the same creativity to make a sculpture as it does to make a website.
Nature
The funny thing about nature is that because we see it every day and it is the norm upon which all things are based, we don't think of the world as art.
