I have an idea for a movie where. It seems like it is supposed to be a generic slasher movie at the start. But it turns out to be a dream in which the dreamer is lucid but chooses to let the "nightmare" play out so he can mess with the other characters. They other characters are freaked out by the stoicism of the dreamer and the fact that he keeps laughing at them while this slasher guy is trying to kill them all. Even the slasher guy thinks the dreamer is supposed to be another victim in the story. But the dreamer ends up flying in the air and shooting energy balls out of his hands and killing the slasher.
